The Federal Government has announced over $6 million to support electric vehicle (EV) fast charging infrastructure in a partnership with an Australian charging company.
With a comprehensive fast charging network integral to boost mainstream interest in EVs, the new funding will be delivered to JET Charge through the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC)’s Innovation Fund.
The added funding will allow JET Charge to expand their workforce to over 100 people in the coming year.
Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction, Angus Taylor, said the Federal Government is backing yet another Australian business rolling out low emissions transport technologies while supporting local jobs.
